Draw Confetti Paint Tool Sai
Today I'one thousand going to talk nigh the (somewhat complicated) procedure of creating digital art! My favorite program, Paint Tool SAI, has a ton of helpful features that brand fine art fun!
IMPORTANT: These instructions are directed at artists. I will not be explaining how to describe– how to use colors, how to shade, how to describe beefcake– I will but be explaining how to apply Paint Tool SAI to the best of your ability.
Before you begin, you will need to obtain a copy of Paint Tool SAI and a drawing tablet. (Youscoulduse your mouse, but I don't advise it!)

ane. Open up a new file
On the height left, observe the "File" option. Click it, and you will exist able to decide how big of a canvas you want to open. I decided to brand my canvass 1300 pixels alpine and 500 pixels wide.
ii. Open new layers, and choose your tools

I opened two layers for my rough sketch, because I like to draw the body on one layer and the clothes on another. I suggest that you practise not use blackfor your crude sketch. 3. Begin your clean lines

The first thing to do to make your drawing clean and pretty is to increment the stabilizer. For your sketch, it's okay that it was messy and ugly, because it was going to exist deleted. But for your terminal drawing, you want it to be smooth. The stabilizer smooths out your line, so if your hand wiggles, the line volition stay smoothen.
The stabilizer is located on the tiptop correct. Come across the difference it makes?
Now you lot tin do your cartoon on a new layer. Trace neatly over top of your sketch.
Lastly, you want to make the sketchy lines invisible. Printing the little eyeball push to make them go away.

iv. Color
The last thing to practice is color! Yous've probably noticed the big color bicycle on the peak. That'due south the beauty of SAI– y'all don't need to own whatsoever special paints or markers. Every color on the planet is at your disposal!
Brand a new layer underneath your black lines (that fashion you can colour nether the lines– fifty-fifty yous color right through the lines, the lines volition be on top and the colour volition be underneath). Color it in like a coloring book with bones colors.
And then, brand a new layer to a higher place the basic colors to do some shading!
(I suggest doing the shading on a different layer than the basic colors, because and then y'all can edit the shading individually if you want. Yous can play with the opacity to make it darker or lighter, for example.)
